Glen Martens presented Y/Project Spring Summer 2023 collection, on Saturday, June 22nd during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. Just like every season, the silhouettes intrigue and reinvent themselves constantly, playing the game between the real and the fake.
SPRING SUMMER 2023 COLLECTIONS
As a part of the collection, Y/Project presented the second chapter of the ongoing collaboration with French couturier Jean Paul Gaultier. A ready-to-wear line features emblematic Y/Project models projected on the outfits.
The Y/Project look is inseparable from a certain irony: tops covered with rude baby silhouettes, golden earrings in the shape of a giving-finger hand, transparent openwork plastic rain boots, made in collaboration with Melissa. Pink, a color considered innocent, covers bags inserted with wires, which can be twisted. A very contemporary malice. – from Y/Project.
